Farming - Green electricity   

 

   

FARMING - we produces your food
 
 The farm carries on traditional grain cultivation. The cereals grown and the crops are sold on to become bread grain, feed grain for animals to some extent, rape for vegetable oil e.g. in margarine. Processing peas are grown for Findus AB and meadow-fescue for Svalöf-Weibull, where the grass seed is mixed into grass seed mixtures for different needs. The previous animal production (breeding of piglets) no longer exists on the farm, which is why two full-time employees now find time to manage the farming and most of the forestry, maintenance of buildings and to take care of the park and the garden. 
On the photo, wheat is harvested with a combine harvester belonging to the farm. Kaj Tufvesson, 0709 - 720 855 is the driver. The grain is delivered flying directly into the tractor wagon, driven by Lars Brunnström, 0709 - 720 897, who then brings in the grain for weighing and drying. A straw-fired boiler is in constant operation during the harvesting season, to be able to dry the cereals before delivering it to the mill in the autumn and in the winter.
 
GREEN ELECTRICITY – wind-produced

In case of surplus production, green electricity is delivered to Höganäs Energi/Öresundskraft, where you can announce your own interest in buying green electricity. It may originate from the winds around Stureholm, caught by the wind mill from Wind World (today Neg Micon - Vestas). The maintenance of the wind mill is handled by AB Vindkraft.
